Standards of Behaviour
In all activities, members are expected to uphold behaviour that maintains Union 1908’s good name and reputation.
Members must observe the following standards:
– Refrain from intimidating or discriminatory language and behaviour, and uphold the protected equality characteristics as defined in UK Equalities legislation. These include: age, disability, gender reassignment, race, religion or belief, sex, sexual orientation, marriage and civil partnership, and pregnancy and maternity.
– Behave appropriately as a representative of Union 1908 at all public occasions and in all contexts.
These standards apply to all verbal, written, and digital communication, including social media.
